+<span class="vers">Ein alter, kalter Leichnam hängt</span><br />
+<span class="vers">An einem Telegraphenmast.</span><br />
+<span class="vers">Nach seinen Schlenkerbeinen faßt</span><br />
+<span class="vers">— ob er sie fängt? —</span><br />
+<span class="vers">Ein ausgespreizter Eichenast.</span><br />
+<span class="vers">Lautkeuchend um den Leichnam pfeift</span><br />
+<span class="vers">Und um den Ast ein Windsgebrüll. —</span><br />
